I am a developer focused mainly on C# and .NET, with experience in object-oriented programming, SQL, REST APIs and relational databases. I enjoy turning ideas into applications I can actually see, use and improve.
3D educational puzzle game
I created the complete Unity game and its gameplay systems, built a custom .NET 8 launcher and connected both to a shared database. The project earned a score of 20/20.

ABOUT ME
If you've made it this far, hi. I'm João, but almost everyone calls me Andrade. So, let me tell you a little more about myself.
I'm Portuguese and completely hooked on films and TV series. I'll watch pretty much anything, though Good Will Hunting and La La Land would be among my favourites right now.
I also enjoy reading, although I read quite a bit less than I'd like to admit. The last book I read was The Soul of Japan: Bushido, by Inazo Nitobé. I go through phases where I pick up one book after another, and others where the pile next to my bed becomes more decoration than an actual reading plan.
Music, on the other hand, is almost always with me. It's a bit like breathing. I code with music, work out with music, walk with music, and somehow it always manages to give me that little bit of extra fuel.
I really enjoy working out and working towards the physique I have in mind for myself. There's a kind of satisfaction that's hard to explain in walking home completely exhausted, feeling that muscle fatigue after a good session, with music in my ears. To me, it's genuinely one of life's most rewarding feelings. I enjoy it even more when the weather is grey and closed in. It gives me that feeling of, “I went anyway and I did it,” even on the days when, if I'm being truthful, I didn't really want to leave the house.
And I have a wonderful partner by my side with whom I want to build a good life. A big part of my ambition comes from that too. I want to be able to share the best of myself, my experiences and whatever I'm able to build along the way.
So that's a little more about me. I'm not here trying to sell you the pen or anything like that, this part really is without filters. I hope you enjoyed getting to know me a little better and, well, nice to meet you, person on the other side of the screen.
